GHK-Cu peptide (copper peptide)

Tier 3 — weak evidence · Skin aging · Wound healing · Collagen

A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide that declines with age. Topical application has moderate evidence for reducing fine wrinkles and improving skin elasticity. Injectable and oral forms are emerging but lack clinical trial data. Promotes wound healing, collagen synthesis, and stem cell differentiation in preclinical models. Self-injection carries significant infection risk.

Dose: Topical: creams containing 1–2% GHK-Cu; injectable forms: unregulated and not recommended without medical supervision
