Terms of Use

Acceptance
By accessing or using supplementscore.org (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What the Site is
The Site is a free, educational reference about dietary supplements. It is published by SupplementScore (the "Publisher") for informational purposes only.
What the Site is not
- Not medical advice. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for professional medical, pharmacological, or nutritional advice. The Site does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- Not a doctor-patient relationship. Reading the Site does not create any clinical relationship between you and the Publisher.
- Not exhaustive. The Site catalogs many but not all supplements, all interactions, or all populations. New evidence appears constantly; treat any rating as a snapshot.
- Not a recommendation to buy. The Site does not endorse any brand or retailer. We do not sell supplements, do not run affiliate links, and do not accept advertising.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial reference. Re-publishing or re-distributing data from the Site requires attribution under our Creative Commons BY 4.0 license — see the LICENSE file in our public repository for the full terms.
Accuracy
We work continuously to keep the data accurate, citing primary sources for every claim and re-checking Tier 1 entries weekly against new meta-analyses (see the methodology page). However, the Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Errors are inevitable in a database this size; if you find one, please use the "Report inaccuracy" button on any supplement card.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to damages from reliance on any information presented on the Site. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
Third-party links
The Site links to PubMed, DOI registries, regulatory agency pages, and other external sources. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
Intellectual property
Site content is dual-licensed: code under MIT, data and editorial content under CC-BY 4.0. See the LICENSE file for details. The "SupplementScore" name and logo are reserved.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date at the top and will be noted in our annual transparency report.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
