Croton oil (Croton tiglium)

One of the most potent irritants known, historically used as a drastic purgative. A single drop on skin causes severe blistering. Oral ingestion causes violent bloody diarrhoea, haemorrhage, circulatory collapse, and death. Contains phorbol esters classified as carcinogens. Banned OTC. Still found in some Asian traditional preparations.

Dose: AVOID — one of the most dangerous plant oils; causes hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and death
