Cesium chloride (alkaline therapy)

Tier 4 — risky / avoid · Cardiac arrest · Pseudoscience

Cesium chloride is sold as “alkaline” or “high pH” cancer therapy. That theory is false: cancer is not treated by making the blood alkaline. Cesium blocks potassium channels and has caused fatal heart-rhythm disturbances. The FDA has warned against it. There is no trial evidence of benefit. Do not take it under either name.

Dose: Do not take cesium chloride. There is no therapeutic dose.
