Contains synephrine, a stimulant similar to the banned substance ephedra. Marketed for weight loss and energy, but associated with heart attacks, strokes, and dangerous blood pressure spikes. The risk increases significantly when combined with caffeine, which many people do unknowingly. Has caused multiple serious cardiac events in otherwise healthy adults.
