Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia)

Libido · Free testosterone · Stress
Tier 3 — Trending

What it is

A Southeast Asian root extract with the strongest evidence for raising free (not total) testosterone in men with stress-related or age-related declines, and modest evidence for stress and exercise endpoints in both sexes. Standardised extracts (Physta, Eurycomanone-quantified) are what most positive trials use; generic root powders show inconsistent results. Effect size on testosterone is moderate, not pharmaceutical. Caution in hormone-sensitive cancers and pregnancy.
