Pterostilbene

Resveratrol analogue · Cognition · Lipids
Tier 3 — Trending

What it is

A naturally methylated stilbene related to resveratrol, with substantially better oral bioavailability (~80% vs <1% for resveratrol). Small human trials show modest blood-pressure and lipid effects at 250 mg/day. Often paired with NR/NMN in branded longevity formulations. Generally well tolerated, though one trial noted a small LDL increase at higher doses — monitor lipids if used long-term.
