What it is
Polysaccharide-K (PSK / Krestin) and Polysaccharide-Peptide (PSP) are protein-bound β-glucans extracted from Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor). PSK has been used in Japan since 1977 as a Japanese-government-approved cancer treatment adjunct. Meta-analyses suggest survival benefit in some GI cancers. Safety is good. Avoid concurrently with checkpoint inhibitors (immune-stimulating). NOT the same as generic Turkey Tail mushroom powder.
