What it is

A lesser-known fatty acid with emerging health benefits. A 2024 review of 6 trials found sea buckthorn-derived omega-7 significantly reduces inflammation and improves vaginal dryness in postmenopausal women. Early research also suggests metabolic benefits for blood sugar and cholesterol. Generally well tolerated. Research is still in early stages.

Time of day & tips

Take with a meal containing fat for best absorption. Morning with breakfast is a convenient time. Store capsules away from heat to prevent oxidation.
