Blackcurrant extract
What it is
An exceptionally anthocyanin-rich berry (predominantly cyanidin-3-glucoside and delphinidin-3-glucoside) with documented benefits for ocular circulation, visual fatigue, and immune function. Japanese clinical trials consistently show reduced visual fatigue, improved dark adaptation, and better night vision with New Zealand blackcurrant extract. Benefits for exercise-induced muscle damage recovery and natural killer cell activity have also been documented. The most anthocyanin-dense of commonly supplemented berries.
